Helen Ann Dauro Munter, age 68, of Long Beach, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 after battling cancer.

Helen Ann was born in Gulfport, MS to Vincent and Helen Dauro of Dauro’s Florist. She was number five of eleven children. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach.

Helen Ann loved working at Home Depot in Gulfport and Biloxi as the garden manager with her brother Gary. In recent years, Helen Ann and her late husband, Charlie Munter, were founding members of The Farmers Market at Long Beach Town Green. They provided a selection of plants, flowers, vegetables, fruits, and herbs to the community.

Helen Ann enjoyed cooking for others, gardening, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was loved by many who will greatly miss her memorable laugh. Helen Ann often put others before herself and she was always willing to provide a helping hand. Helen Ann will most of all be missed by her grandchildren and daughter, Maureen. Helen Ann inspired her to be a strong, compassionate, hardworking, dedicated human being. She greatly supported her daughter in becoming a teacher.

Helen Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Munter; son, Vito Paniku; parents, Vincent and Helen Dauro; and two brothers, Gary and Timothy.

Survivors include her daughter, Maureen Lynch; grandchildren, Braelyn, Dominic, Keli, Vivian, and Moira; sisters, Paulette Lovingood, Linda Dauro, Maria Davis (Jim), and Colette Quigley (Mike); and brothers, Samuel Dauro, Michael Dauro, Vincent Dauro, and Frank Dauro (Denise).

A private service will be held at a later date. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport, is honored to serve the Munter family.
