Henry C. Murphy

Henry C. Murphy, 62, of Vancleave, MS passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Mr. Murphy was born in Pascagoula and remained a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He was a graduate of Vancleave High School and Mississippi State University. Mr. Murphy was a US Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was an independent Title Abstractor. Mr. Murphy was a member of First Baptist Church in Vancleave. He was also the favorite Uncle of his many nieces and nephews. Mr. Murphy is preceded in death by his parents, Watkins and Anna Ruth Murphy. He is survived by his sisters, Criss Carter, Aileen M. Russell and Joy M. Kitchens (Ben); brothers, Dr. John A. Murphy (Marilyn), Robert C. Murphy (Sandra), George W. Murphy (Mary) and Clint N. Murphy (Sherry); twenty-two nieces and nephews and twenty-six great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Vancleave. Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Vancleave Cemetery #1. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs is in charge of arrangements.
