Henry Milton “Iggy” Hudson, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.
Henry had a long and blessed life, which was filled with simple joys that reflected the man he truly was. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and wore his uniform with great pride. Henry worked for Ingalls Shipyard as a machinist for over 36 years, retiring in 1992. After retirement, he enjoyed working on small engines and lawnmowers, where he made friendships that lasted for years. Henry loved to cut grass and you could always see him in his yard, admiring his handy work, just sitting and waving at all who drove by with a big smile on his face. His life may have ended, but his legacy will live on and he will be missed dearly by family members and friends. Henry was a lifelong member of Cedar Lake Global Church.
Rest in peace, Brother, you will not be forgotten.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff at Eva’s Place Personal Care Home, Gentiva Hospice and to family and friends who visited him while a resident at Eva’s Place.
Private services will be held at a later date where Henry will be laid to rest in White Plains Cemetery.
