It is with profound heartbreak that we announce the passing of Henry Kenneth “Lil Kenny” Lundy, age 29, who left this world on Friday, November 28, 2025. Though his life ended far too soon, Little Kenny leaves behind memories full of warmth, laughter, love, and lots of fishing stories.
Born on December 27, 1995, the baby of 7 children, Little Kenny was known for his gentle presence, his easy smile, and the natural way he drew people toward him. He was a son, a brother, a loyal friend, and a young man whose heart was deeper and more compassionate than most ever realized.
Little Kenny had a gift for fixing things — he was known for “making things work,” no matter how broken or complicated they seemed. Whether it was something mechanical, something around the house, or just finding a solution when people felt stuck, he had a way of figuring things out. This served him well as he worked alongside his father at the shop all his life.
Little Kenny found peace in life’s quiet places —especially while fishing, where the calm water and open sky brought him a sense of comfort and stillness. Animals held a special place in his heart, and his beloved dogs, PeeWee, Duke, and Tiger were always by his side. They were more than just pets; they were his companions, his family, his babies.
In recent months, Little Kenny showed extraordinary courage as he worked toward sobriety, reaching nearly forty days sober. His determination, strength, and hope were undeniable. His struggle does not define him; instead, we remember the love he gave freely, the laughter he brought into every room, and the tenderness that lived at the core of who he was.
Little Kenny is survived by his father, Henry Lundy Sr. (Tanya); grandmother, Linda “Honey” Balliache; children, Acelynn Ballard and Kanine Ballard; siblings, Samantha “Nikki” Martin, Alphonse “Al” Lowe (Kelly), Nicholas ”Nick” Lowe (Kelley), Catherine “Katie” Hood (Chad), Carrie Holifield (Clay), Brandon Lowe (Cortney); his life-long friend, Angel Ballard; his beloved nieces and nephews, Sam, Kelly, Devin, Alex, Daniel, Peyton, Cora, Jocelyn, Fisher, Nathan, Kaizley, Broly, Colton, Josi-ray; uncle, Randy Brunelle; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins, who will carry his memory and his love with them always.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Annette Marie Lundy and his nephew, Payson Jax Hamrick.
Little Kenny will be remembered for the love he gave, the joy he brought to others, the peace he found on the water, his gift for making things work, and the bond he shared with his dogs. His memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by a service honoring Little Kenny’s life at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 1726 15th Street, Gulfport, where family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and celebrate the beautiful, complex, and irreplaceable person he was. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Lundy family.
