Hildred "Punk" Lee Ivey

Hildred "Punk" Lee Ivey, 79, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on December 16, 2024.

He was born on April 28, 1945 in Forrest, MS. Punk was employed for thirty-five years with Singing River Power and taught Lineman School for twenty-three years at MGCCC. Hildred enjoyed fishing, going to the family camp, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Punk was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Irene Ivey; great-grandchild, Anchor Adkins; and brother, Ronnie Ivy.

He is survived by his spouse, Doris Thompson Ivey; children, Darrin (Crissy) Ivey and Kim (James) Hagan; grandchildren, Shelby (Kimberly) Ivey, Katie (Patrick) Adkins, Mallory (Levi) White, Zane (Lauren) Hagan, Gabrielle Ivey, and Lola Ivey; and great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Hunter, Lennon, Bella, Charter, Sadie, Chapen, Harper, Jaxon, and Harmony-Grace.

The family would like to express a thank you to everyone for their prayers and support and to all the medical staff who took care of Hildred.

A visitation will be held from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs, MS. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Mineral Spring Baptist Church Cemetery, 1643 S. County Rd. 19, Taylorsville, MS 39168
