Hoan Hoang

Hoan Hoang, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, surrounded by love.

Born in Vietnam, Hoan and his family immigrated to America in 1979 under the sponsorship of a Catholic Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, with the hopes of building a better future for his kids and generations to come. After braving several Minnesota winters, he relocated his family to Biloxi, Mississippi, a place he proudly called home for the next 40 years. Hoan’s greatest passion in life was fishing, a simple joy that brought him comfort, peace, and happiness. In the final years of his life, he resided in Charlotte, North Carolina, continuing to be surrounded by the love and care of his family.

He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Lan Nguyen, whom he missed dearly since her passing three years ago. His love and devotion to her never wavered and only grew stronger with each passing year.

He leaves behind 10 children, 20 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and his youngest sister who still lives in Vietnam.

Prayer services and visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 and Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, located at 675 Howard Avenue, Biloxi, Mississippi. Floral arrangements are welcome and may be sent directly to the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church, located at 171 Oak Street, Biloxi, Mississippi. He will be laid to rest at Crestlawn Memorial Park, located at 4111 Bienville Boulevard, Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
