Ira Joseph “Joey” Conn, 49 passed away late in the evening of February 14th, 2016 at his residence at 500 East Old Pass Road Long Beach, MS from heart complications. Joey was born July 12th, 1966 at Biloxi Reginal Hospital to his mother JoAnn Migues and his late father David Wayne Conn and late step-father Frank C. Duvic. Joey Graduated from Mercy Cross High School in 1983. He worked in the gambling industry as a Table Games Supervisor. Joey started with the opening the first casino, The Biloxi Belle on the MS Gulf Coast in the early 90’s. He was an avid sports enthusiast playing baseball and football at Mercy Cross. He also enjoyed a good game of golf. Joey spent his early years in Biloxi, moving and traveling throughout Florida and South Carolina. He is survived by his beloved son Myles McGill, loving mother JoAnn Duvic, sister Tonya Conn, niece Tiffany Duvic Allen her husband Thomas James Allen and his great nephews Landon and Parker Allen. Joey will have a memorial service at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home at 675 Howard Ave. Biloxi, MS 39530 on March 6, 2016 from 1 to 2 pm.
