Iris Seymour

Iris Seymour, 86, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Seymour was born in the Bronx in New York City and was a resident of the Coast since 1970. She traveled to many places with her husband during his military career. Mrs. Seymour was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Major Kenneth F. Seymour, USMC Ret.; her parents, John and Evelyn Murray; her son, Kenneth Seymour, Jr.; her brothers, John and Richard Murray; and her sister, Evelyn Zimba. Mrs. Seymour’s survivors include her daughters, Karen (Bill) Francisco and Doreen (David) Dawson; her five grandchildren, Billy, Tara, Jennifer, Jessica and Lauren; her great-granddaughter, Lola; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 11:00 am. Friends may visit from 10:00 am until mass time. Interment will follow at D’Iberville Memorial Park. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
