Isabel Rose Cerione

Isabel Rose Cerione, age 102 of Biloxi, MS, former resident of Vineland, NJ for 92 years passed away on June 4, 2022 at Singing River Hospital.

She was born on January 4, 1920 in Vineland, NJ. She was a graduate of Vineland High School. She worked as a seamstress for forty years in Vineland. She loved to travel, visit with friends and family. She was known as “Madam President” to her close friends and family.

Isabel was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, George Cerione; parents, Batista and Elisabetha Abba; brothers, Sam, Jack, and Joseph Abba; sisters, Mary Abba and Lena (Louie) Meschi; and many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Paul) Cooper of Biloxi, MS and Jane Cerione of New Port Richey, FL; grandchildren, Tana K. (Brad) Cooper, Morgan (Ling) Cooper, Kelli (Steve) Mower, and Jason Bajewicz; and great-grandchildren, Camille and Charley Mower.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to St. Jude Hospital or Shriners’ Children Hospital.
