Ivelle M. McKnight

Mrs. Ivelle Marie McKnight, age 85, of Ocean Springs, passed away June 7, 2013. Ivelle was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast. She was dedicated to anything that she put her mind to whether it be working for the city, in the yard or helping at Calvin’s Service Station. She cherished every moment she spent with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Plicede and Josephine Necaise Lizana; three sisters; and three brothers. Survivors include her husband, Calvin McKnight; daughter, Gisele (Brian) Davies; sons, Richard (Wanda) Dedeaux, Jerry Dedeaux, and Danny (Karen) Pittman; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport.
