Ivery A. Tillman, Jr.

Mr. Ivery A. Tillman Jr. 62 was born February 8, 1954 in New Orleans, LA and departed on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 in Gulfport, MS. Ivery was preceded in death by his father Ivery A. Tillman Sr.; grandparents Carl (Sweet Daddy) Harris Sr. and Luecresah (Sweet Mama) Harris. He leaves to cherish his memories with his loving mother Deloris C. Leach, Stepfather Calvin Leach; sister Gabriella Potts; four daughters: Danyelle Tillman, Khalilah Tillman, Ivery Tillman and Gabrielle Brown (all from Gulfport, MS); seven grandchildren Roosevelt Carson III, Raekwon Williams, Chiarie Lizana, Kianna Ruiz, Jose Ruiz, Keleigh Ruiz and Julius Ruiz; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mr. Tillman will also be sadly missed by a very special friend of the family as well as his best friend Derrick Madison. A “Celebration of Life” memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, 1726 15th Street, Gulfport, MS where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m.
