Ivy Louise McCurdy Baker

Mrs. Ivy Louise McCurdy Baker, 87, of Biloxi, died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Baker was a lifelong resident of the community. She was a house wife and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, George Baker; a son Ronald James Rhodes; a daughter, Donnita Rhodes Martin; a son Kenneth F. Rhodes; a grandson, Ronald James Rhodes; and a great-granddaughter, Tabitha Lynn Rhodes. Mrs. Baker is survived by two daughters, Connie Bazer and Georgeanna Baker; two sons, Willie F. Rhodes and George Baker; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 2:00pm at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes; friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in the Biloxi City Cemetery.
