Mr. Jack Leroy Holt, age 82, passed away in Biloxi on August 10, 2016.
Mr. Holt was born in Caldwell County, Missouri on April 6, 1934 to Jessie (Fern) and Floyd Holt. He studied engineering at the University of Missouri, and received a Bachelor of Architecture at Kansas University. For most of his career, he owned Land Planning Consultants, an engineering company which took him to resort developments across Oklahoma, Tennessee, Illinois, Texas, Kansas, Mississippi Gulf Coast and Missouri. After deciding to settle down, he returned to the Coast in 1997 and worked for Brown & Mitchell, Inc. His focus was large projects across the Coast including many casino developments and sports recreation facilities. During his retirement, his passion turned again to his artwork. He enjoyed his art classes and sketching buildings and landmarks across the Coast and state.
Mr. Holt is survived by his loving and caring wife of 61 years, June Stephens Holt; his daughter, Jackie Holt and her husband, Howard Jefferson; his son, Jim and his wife, Gerry Ann Creel Holt; 2 grandchildren, Jared and Jeffrey Holt. He is also survived by his sister, Sue and her husband, Jim Basel; and his niece, Jaime and her husband, Mark Cusick of Kansas City, Missouri.
The family would like to thank the staff at Fresenius Medical Care in D’Iberville for the care during the many years of dialysis treatment. The family would also like to thank Saad’s Healthcare Services for their care and support over the past few years.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 10am to 11am with a memorial service at 11am all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Private burial services will be held at a later date.
