Jack McGrew was called to a higher plane on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the age of 78. He was a devoted husband, daddy, granddaddy and great grandfather. He served this country proudly for thirty-six years and loved every minute of it. His greatest pleasure while in the military was when he became a Loadmaster on the C130 at Keebler AFB.
He loved his children and taught them life skills that were passed to him by his dad. He will be forever in our hearts and memories.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Mary Lee Elliott McGrew; two sons, Ernest Lewis McGrew and Gary Michael McGrew. Jack was one of thirteen children and has only one living brother, Robert McGrew. He embraced his in-laws on both sides of the marriage as his "sisters" and "brothers". There are numerous nieces and nephews that will remember him and the honorable way he lived his life.
There are no services at this time. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Jack McGrew.
