James Carl Elder

r. James Carl Elder, 86, of Biloxi, MS, died Wednesday, December 29, 2010, in Moss Point. Mr. Elder was a native and lifelong resident of the coast. He retired from Frank P. Corso after 35 years of employment. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Biloxi and a former member of Sunkist Country Club. Mr. Elder was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Elder; daughter, Rebecca Elder Ball; and two brothers, William "Dubbie" Elder and Jay Elder. He is survived by his grandson, Jeff Ball; son-in-law, Tim Ball; and sister, Frances Hicks. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time.
