James Thomas "Jimmy" Davis

Jimmy went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2015. Jimmy was a graduate of Vancleave High School and attended MS Gulf Coast Community College. He was a radio personality on the coast for over 20 years, co-owner of Dynamic Outdoors TV and radio and the owner of Jimmy Davis Construction. Jimmy was an active member of 1st Baptist Church of Vancleave and a dedicated supporter and broadcaster for MS Gulf Coast Community College Sports for over 25 years. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Lee Davis, Sr.; Helen Griffin Davis and a brother, John Edwin “Jed” Davis. He is survived by his wife, Jill Schmelling Davis; son, John (Blair) Curtis Davis; daughters , Erica Davis and Jillian Elizabeth Davis; brothers, Curtis Lee Davis, Jr, Gordon Kym Davis and sister, Anne Davis Bass; grandchildren, Jordan, Huxley, Hunter and Harleigh Bell, Ragelin, Anne and Jax Davis and Miyah Northrop, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 1st Baptist Church in Vancleave with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm and services to follow at 1:00pm. Burial will be at Vancleave Cemetery #2.
