James Franklin Dooley

James "Jimmy" Franklin Dooley, age 70, of Gulfport, MS passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at his home in Gulfport.

James was born in Gulfport to James and Fannie Dooley.  After attending high school, he served in the US Army as a paratrooper.  He was later employed as a brick mason and welder.  James loved fishing, river life, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his spouse, Nancy Dooley; and siblings Melvin Dooley and Kenny Dooley.

James is survived by his son Michael Gaston (Cindy); his grandchildren, Dalton and Dylan Rose; Jace, Abel and Beaux Gaston; and sister,  Charlene Hall (Jerry).

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the O'Neal Road location of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15452 O'Neal Road, Gulfport, MS from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m.
