James R. Goss

James R. Goss, 87, of Wiggins, MS passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016 in Wiggins. Mr. Goss was a native of Sebastpol, MS and longtime resident of the Coast. He was an automotive mechanic and formerly employed at Pine Island Golf Club. Mr. Goss was a Christian and formerly attended Victory Worship Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, Madison and Naomi Goss; his first wife, Grace L. Goss; his second wife, Dorothy B. Goss; his grandson, Kevin Sorensen; his son-in-law, Charles Bond; his brothers, Waymon Goss and Howard Goss; and his sisters, Dean Bosarge, Winnie Goforth, Myrtis McDaniel and Helen Monk. Mr. Goss’ survivors include his daughters, Zaydean Bond (Steven) Havard, Nora (Michael) Waltman and Rita (Norman) Altop; his son, Willy Callahan; his sister, Sarah Bragg; his brothers, Madison Goss, Albert (Sharon) Goss and Freddie (Karen) Goss; 10 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Friends may visit from 11:00 am until service time. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
