James L. "Jimmy" Braun

James L. “Jimmy” Braun, Jr., 56, of Biloxi went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 6, 2016. Mr. Braun was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was a Dealer at numerous casinos on the Gulf Coast and attended church at Nativity B.V.M. Cathedral. He enjoyed fishing, Rock n Roll and was a diehard Saints fan. Mr. Braun is preceded in death by his wife, Kaye Braun; son, Ryan Braun; sisters, Lana and Gina Braun; and Father James Louis Braun Sr. Survivors include his mother, Yvonne Braun; brothers, Glenn and David Braun; daughters Saraya (Brandon) Braun, Holly (Tyler) Brody and Amber Olsen; son, Trae Braun; nieces, Danielle (Robert) Braun and Deshae Braun; and 10 grandchildren. In Lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105. Services will be held at Nativity B.V.M. Cathedral on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to visit one hour prior. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
