James Lewis Shotts, III

 

James Lewis Shotts, III, “Jimmy” or " Shotts", age 75 of Gulfport passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022 in Gulfport.

He was born September, 14, 1946 in Pascagoula, MS.  James was a graduate of Gulfport High School and Perkinston Junior College.  He was a retired vocational teacher at Biloxi High School and was a charter member of Parkway Baptist Church, Biloxi, MS.  He enjoyed golfing, sports, and helping his church.

He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Shotts and mother, Effie L. Shotts; and brother, Dennis Richard Shotts.  

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Cindy Shotts; step-son, Corey Necaise; best friend, Susan L. Bailey; and many beloved friends and relatives.

The funeral service will be Monday, April 18 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Parkway Baptist Church, Highway 67, Biloxi with the visitation one hour before at 10:00 a.m.  Memorial donations may be made to Parkway Baptist Church 17284 Highway 67, Biloxi, MS 39532.
