CMSgt James Edward White, U. S. Air Force Retired, age 78, of d’Iberville, MS, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019, in Biloxi. James was born in Jackson, MS, to Walter William White and Mattie Mae Russell White. Shortly after graduation from Lanier High School in Jackson he enlisted in the air force. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran of Vietnam with over 30 years active service during which time he received many citations and awards. His last duty station was at Keesler AFB, where he served as the hospital superintendent. James was a dedicated man with high work ethics who valued his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his daughter, Tiara Campbell, and his grandson, Isaiah Campbell, both of Killeen, TX. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 28, 2019, at 12:30 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. till service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
