Jane Maebell Edwards

Jane Maebell Edwards, 74, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Ocean Springs, MS. Jane was a native of Texas and a resident of the MS Gulf Coast since 1980. She was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Ocean Springs and was employed at the church as a preschool teacher. Jane was also a member of the Red Hat Society, VFW Auxiliary, and the Golden Age Club. Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Edwards; one brother; and her parents. Jane is survived by her daughters, Melissa (Doug) Rackley and Rhonda (Scott) Arneson; grandchildren, Lauren Rackley, Jordan Rackley, Kaley Arneson, and Brayden Arneson; two sisters; and a brother. Visitation will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., with a memorial service at 1:00 p.m., all at the St. Paul United Methodist Church Downtown. Jane was a generous and loving soul who will be dearly missed by everyone that knew her. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
