Janice Brackin Scott

Janice Brackin Scott, age 68, of Gulfport, died Monday, August 11, 2008 in Gulfport. She was born in Surrency, GA and had been a resident of Gulfport for eight years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Waunell Brackin. She is survived by her husband, William Scott of Gulfport; a daughter, Jennifer Brister, (Billy) of Denham Springs, LA; a son, Jefferson T. Wax, III (Kimberly) of Helena, AL; a sister, Gail Sumrall of Denham Springs, LA; two brothers, James Brackin of Denham Springs, LA, Wayne Brackin of Baton Rouge, LA; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visistation will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2008 from 5 until 7:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport. Visitation will also be held Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Sealle Funeral Home in Denham Springs, LA from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery in Denham Springs.
