Jean A. Kressel Cooper

Mrs. Jean A. Kressel Cooper, age 73, of Ocean Springs, MS, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016. Mrs. Cooper was a resident of Ocean Springs since 1973. She was a registered nurse and retired as Director of Quality Assurance at Biloxi Regional after thirty years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Helen Kressel. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Ron Cooper, daughter, Karen (Michael) Champaigne, son, Michael (Olga) Cooper, sister, Susan Kressel (Mike) Roll, brother, Joseph (Nella) Kressel and four grandchildren, Jena Champaigne, Cameron Champaigne, Kyle Cooper and Braden Cooper. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 29, from 1:30 pm until 3 pm, with a 3 pm chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either Little Sisters of the Poor or March of Dimes for Babies.
