Jerry "Cliff" Bowers

Jerry “Cliff” Bowers, age 65, passed away on June 10, 2025, in Vancleave, Mississippi.

Born on June 2, 1960, Cliff lived a life defined by independence, passion, and authenticity. He worked for many years as a skilled mechanic and body repairman at Vancleave Body Shop and JT Auto in Vancleave, where his talent and dedication left a lasting impression.

Cliff had a deep love for riding his Harley, building and racing fast cars, and admiring classic vehicles. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life reading or watching old westerns, playing pool, watching NASCAR , and spending time with those he loved. Known for his big heart and carefree spirit, Cliff lived life on his own terms. Stubborn yet kind, he was unapologetically himself and left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughters Shasta (Jake) Jenkins and Theresa (Jacob) Catchot; sons Shawn Long and Anthony Hink; mother Donna (Kent) Tiechman; brothers Tim (Kim) Bowers, Jeremy Bowers, and Ryan Teichman; sisters Kendra Teichman, Crystal (Steven) Raposa, and Charlotte Hinton; grandchildren Lane Bowers, Chase Lee, Emma’Ree Storm, Braxton Anthony Catchot, and several others; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Along with Ex-wife Pam Bowers and long time friends Amie Parks and Rosemary Catchot to name a few.

Cliff was preceded in death by his father Jerry Lee Bowers; brother Brenton Bowers; daughter Cheyenne Kille; and stepmother Toni Bowers.

A remembrance of Cliff’s life was held on June 15th for the family.

He will be remembered with love and laughter by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who carry it forward.
