Jerry George Gollott

Jerry George Gollott, 69, better known as “Jerry” to those who knew and loved him, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2016 in Biloxi, MS Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, L.D. Gollott and Mary L. Foster; siblings, Wayne Gollott, Ray Gollott, Dickie Foster and Billy Gollott. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sandra DeGeorge Gollott; daughters, Mary Beth Gollott Ruff and Denise Gollott Stover and her husband, Bill; grandchildren, Joey Parker, Kyle Stover, Michael Gollott, Laura Stover and Liam Stover and a brother, Pat Foster. As a man of faith, he served in the Knights of Columbus, Biloxi Council #1244 for over 40 years through many offices of leadership and was a Past Grand Knight; he also served the Mississippi Coast Radio Control Club for many years as president and was an avid supporter of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Biloxi. He was an active member of Nativity BVM Cathedral. Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Mass at 1:15pm followed by burial at Biloxi National Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers, the family prefers donations to be made to St. Vincent De Paul, P.O. Box 1228, Biloxi, MS 39533.
