Jimmy Allen Rawls, Sr.

Mr. Jimmy Allen Rawls, Sr., 47, of Vancleave, MS, died Friday, October 27, 2006, in Biloxi. Mr. Rawls was a native of Biloxi and lifelong resident of the coast. He was a graduate of D'Iberville High School and had two years of college. He was employed as a repossession man. Mr. Rawls was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Myrtis Redmond and adopted parents, L. B. and Audrey Rawls; five brothers, Terry Redmond, Eldon Redmond, Lavoise Redmond, George Redmond and Tommy Redmond; four sisters, Deborah Redmond, Gloria Potts, Sandra Waltman and Brenda Cobb. He is survived by a son, Jimmy Thompson; four sisters, Mary Kelley, Glenda Verret, Cherly Rogers and Audrey Foret; seven brothers, David Redmond, Wayne Redmond, Jesse Redmond, L. B. Redmond, Rusty Redmond, Michael Redmond and Marty Redmond. A memorial service is planned for a later date. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
