Jimmy Anthony Richoux

Jimmy Anthony Richoux, 83, of Marrero, LA, passed away on April 25, 2024. He recently moved to Ocean Springs, MS. He was born on December 13, 1940, in Larose, LA. Jimmy was a retired Vice President at Evens Industries, where he dedicated his career and made significant contributions.

Jimmy was a man of many passions. He enjoyed flying a flight simulator, indulging in his passion for corvettes, hunting, fishing, and traveling. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dian Richoux, his children Todd Richoux (Patty) and Renee Dye (Herbie), as well as his grandchildren Lane Gulotta (Joe), Lacey McClure (Nick), Kristin Blank (Matt), McKenzie Daniell, and great-grandchildren Harrison, Libby, Maggie, and Ben Gulotta, Claire McClure, and Andi Blank. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Suzette Daniell, and siblings Winnie Mae, Edwin, June, Ruth, Verna, LeRoy, Jock, and Lee.

A funeral service will be held at St Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs, MS, on Monday, May 6, 2024 with visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by Mass at 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Knights of Columbus next door to the church. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose, LA at a later date.  

Jimmy will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
