James “Jimmy” Warren Sanders III, age 44, of D’Iberville, MS passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
Jimmy was born on July 22, 1973 in Columbus, MS. He attended Central High School in Central, LA and Southeastern Louisiana University. He formerly worked for the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. He was currently employed at the Department of Marine Resources as the Artificial Reef Bureau Director. He was a die-hard MS State fan and loved coaching his children’s softball and baseball teams. He was an aspiring cattle farmer who enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was the life of the party and was loved by everyone who knew him.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack “Pop” and Lynn “Mimi” Hardage; and mother, Norma Lynn Hardage.
Survivors include his loving wife, Bree Anne Sanders; children, Anna Claire Sanders and Levi Boyd Sanders; father, James Warren Sanders, Jr.; in-laws, Otie and Judy Bosarge; grandparents, James Warren Sanders, Sr. and Evelyn Sanders; sister, Stephanie (Butch) Phillips; and brother-in-law, Joey (Robin) Bosarge.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home at 1pm. Family and friends may visit from 11am-1pm. Interment will follow at William Seymour Memorial Cemetery.
