Joan Ann Wilson

Joan Wilson, 80, longtime resident of Ocean Springs, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 after a long illness. Joan was a devoted wife and loving mother and an active member of the Ocean Springs Church of Christ. Joan is preceded in death by her son, Joey; her parents; three sisters; and two brothers. Joan is survived by Joel Wilson, husband of 61 years, her daughter, Teresa Wilson-Carb and her son-in-law, Evan. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Ocean Springs Church of Christ at 4:00 p.m., with a 5:00 p.m. Memorial Service to follow. Interment will be held Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
