JoAnn Arceneaux Penton

JoAnn Arceneaux Penton, 75, of Biloxi, MS, passed away on December 18, 2021. She provided strength and unconditional love to those who called her wife, mom, Mawmaw, sister, or friend. Married to the love of her life at sixteen, she spent her years caring for and nurturing those around her. Her deep love for her family was paralleled only by her awe for God’s creation. Truly the greatest woman we have ever known, words are insufficient to describe how much she will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Penton Sr.; her son, Bobby Joe Penton Jr.; her mother, Beulah Shoemaker; and her father, Ernest “Tarzan” Arceneaux.
She is survived by her daughters, Kim (Joe) Lane Reynolds and Sharon (Dalton Sr.) Penton Parker; her grandchildren, Alan, Chris, Jen, Dalton Jr., Jalynn, Theresa, Cheech, Christina, Kimberly, Julie, and JoAnna; her great- grandchildren, Danielle, Chloe, Chloe Jane, Brody, Katie, Paisley, Ayla, Drew, Ariya, Alexander, and Jackson; and her great-great grandchild, RaeLynn.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 10 AM – 11 AM at the Howard Avenue location of Bradford- O’Keefe Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 11 AM. Interment will be at Coalville Cemetery directly following services. Bradford-O’Keefe is honored to serve the family of JoAnn Arceneaux Penton.
