Joe "Giz" Miller

Joe “Giz” Miller, 70, of Biloxi, MS passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 in Biloxi.

Mr. Miller was born in Biloxi, MS on February 16, 1952 to Joseph “Sammy” and Edna Miller. He was a graduate of D’Iberville High School. Mr. Miller worked in construction for most of his life until he joined the Grand Casino as the VP of Facilities. He enjoyed mulleting, softball, football, Mullet Hops and cooking. Mr. Miller loved the Gulf of Mexico seafood industry and especially spoiling his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Jean Miller; his parents, Joseph “Sammy” and Edna Miller; and his sister, Rose Miller.

Mr. Miller’s survivors include his daughter, Angie (Bernie) Dearman; his grandchildren, Peyton Stenum and Makenzie Stenum; his great-granddaughter, Sandy Jean Stenum; and his siblings, Carol Batia, Alex Miller, Becky Champion, Sandra Enriquez and Patricia Mitchell.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the D’Iberville Civic Center on Automall Parkway at 2:00 pm.
