Joel Allan Clifton

Mr. Joel A. Clifton, age 83, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018. Mr. Clifton was a native of Maddock, ND and a resident of Ocean Springs, MS since 1975. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Tech Sergeant and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Clifton also retired from Northrup Grumman (Ingalls) Shipyard where he was an electrician. He is preceded in death by his son, Blaine Clifton. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Doris J. Clifton; daughter, Tracy (Pete) Hill; sons, Paul A. Clifton and Brian L. Clifton; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Ocean Springs Parlor of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Biloxi National Cemetery.
