Joel Kenneth Stallings, Sr.

Mr. Joel Kenneth Stallings, Sr., age 77, of Biloxi, MS passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024.

Mr. Stallings was born on June 19, 1946 in Rector, Arkansas and was a resident of the Gulf Coast for over 57 years. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, formerly employed with Johnson Diesel Service and former owner of Stallings Truck and Marine Services. He was a member of Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church in D’Iberville and enjoyed music.

Mr. Stallings is preceded in death by his parents, John F. Stallings and Dessie Hampton Stallings; son, Airman First Class, Perry Matthew Stallings, U.S. Air Force; and by his brother, Douglas Norman Stallings.

Left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 57 years, Karen Reece Stallings; son, Joel Kenneth Stallings, Jr. (Melanie); daughter, Katy Stallings; brothers, James M. Stallings (Acel) and Leroy “Neil” Stallings (Vodine); five grandchildren, Hayley (Michael), Elizabeth (Jack), Sarah, Reece and Jae; and two great grandchildren, Rylan and Easton.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
