John Leslie “Johnny” Noble, age 74, of Gulfport, MS passed away on January 7, 2026, in Gulfport, MS.
Johnny was born in Tulsa, OK on February 28, 1951 to parents Bazil Noble Jr. and Madelle Williams Noble. He attended high school at Gulfport East High School and then went on to graduate from Mississippi College.
Johnny worked for the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department from July 1, 1984, to October 30, 2015. He had many distinguished roles including lead of the Narcotics Task Force, assigned to the DEA, lead of the Motor Carrier Unit, and was assigned to the US Marshall’s Task Force. Outside of work Johnny loved to spend his days on a boat or near the water.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Bazil Noble Jr.; his mother, Madelle Williams Noble; and his sisters, Katherine Gilbert and Penny Loveless.
He is survived by his spouse Deborah Fleming; his children, Adam Noble, Royce Wells, and Sarah Fleming; his grandchildren, Asiah Noble, Tinley Noble, and Ashleigh Rapp; and his sister Sandra Fredricks.
A private service will be held at a later date.
