John Leonard Morgan

John Leland Morgan, age 54, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in Ocean Springs at his home. John was born July 15, 1962 to Marvin Wesley Morgan, Sr. and Mary Jo Heard Morgan in Coral Gables, FL. John is preceded in death by his brother, Philip H. Morgan. John's survivors include his parents, Marvin Wesley Morgan, Sr. and Mary Jo Heard Morgan; a brother, Marvin Wesley Morgan, Jr., of Austin, TX; and numerous loving cousins. The Rite of Christian Burial and Eucharist will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at St. John's Episcopal Church. Friends may visit from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at St. John's Memorial Garden immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the NAMI (National Association for the Mentally Ill) Mississippi, 2618 Southerland Street, Jackson, MS 39216, or to St. John's Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs, MS. A special thanks to the Dr. Jule Miller and Dr. Sharon LaRose, Singing River Services, professional staff at Outreach Clubhouse, where he was a member for many years, and the kind people who were his friends.
