John Charles Parker, Sr.

John Charles “Charlie” Parker, Sr., 81, of Biloxi, MS passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024. John was born June 29, 1943 in Laurel, MS to John D. and Helen Parker. 

Charlie was a native of Laurel-Jones County and was a lifelong resident of St. Martin. He retired as a ship fitter from the shipyard and he was of the Pentecostal Faith.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara; his parents, John D. and Helen Parker; and his brother, Bobby.

Survivors include his son, John Charles Parker Jr.; daughter, Shannon Dona Hower; and sister-in-law, Nettie Jones.

A visitation will be held from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on Monday, November 18, 2024. A graveside service will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park.
