John William Lorig, Sr.

John W. Lorig, Sr., 81, of Biloxi, MS died on Saturday, January 22, 2011. Mr. Lorig was retired from the US Navy for over 22 years. He was an artist and water color painter. Mr. Lorig is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mamie Lorig; his wife Linda Lorig. He is survived by his sons, John W. Lorig, Jr and Mitchell A. Lorig both of Cleveland, OH; step-daughters, Rhonda Cornmesser of Milan, IL, Lisa Cutting of Reform, AL and Julie Welch of Biloxi; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:15 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Biloxi National Cemetery.
