Johnny Ray “J.R.” Griffith, age 65, of Gulfport passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 in Gulfport. He was born in Arkansas and was a lifelong resident of Harrison County. He retired from the construction business and was a member of the Coastal Conservation Association He is survived by a lifelong friend, Debbie Frederick; a son, Michael D. Griffith; a step-sister, Melissa Trice Williams; a brother, Tommy Griffith; and two grandchildren, Michaela Griffith and Robert Moore The service will be held at the residence.
