Johnny B Miller

Johnny B. Miller, age 86, of Gulfport passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 in Gulfport. He was born in Bogalusa, LA and had a resident of the Coast for 48 years. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was a retired supervisor for road construction and previously served in the Louisiana National Guard. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Burch Miller; a son, Terry L. Miller; two grandsons, Justin Lee Miller and Skylar Vincent Miller; a great-grandson, Jackson Ladner; his parents, John R. Miller and Georgie Kemp Miller; and three brothers. He is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Miller Butler of Gulfport; three sons, John Cedric Miller of Denver, CO, Tom W. Miller of Gulfport, and Douglas K. Miller of Saucier; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Visitation is Friday, December 15, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport. The funeral service is Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 12 noon at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Washington Parish, LA where friends may visit beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. View and sign register book at www.bradfordokeefe.com
