John M. Williams, 62, of D'Iberville, MS, died Friday, October 8, 2010, in Gulfport. Mr. Williams was born in Columbus, GA and had been a longtime resident of the coast. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He coached Pee-Wee League Baseball and Football where he was a father figure to most of the children. He was a hard worker with an incredible work ethic and was very proud of his family. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Monroe and Minnie Bell Williams, and a sister, Barbara Caroll. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Deborah Williams of D'Iberville; two sons, Aaron Williams and his wife, Dawn, of D'Iberville, and Joshua Williams and his wife, Stephanie, of Long Beach; two sisters, Pat Ballman of Columbus, GA, and Vicki Burkhalter of Seale, AL; and four grandchildren, Seth Maddison, Mason and Noah Williams. Visitation will be Monday, October 11, 2010, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
