Johnny Thomas Richardson

Johnny T. Richardson, age 74, of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at his home.

Johnny was born on November 2, 1949 in Mobile, AL. He earned 2 bachelor’s degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi. Johnny was employed as a computer programmer at Stennis Space Center. He served in the US Air Force and was a Vietnam War veteran. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, vintage cars, and drinking coffee with Jonathan.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Gwendolyn and John Rodgers; and his pet, Leroy.

Survivors include his wife, Teena Richardson; children, Jonathan Richardson and Jeremy Richardson; grandchildren, Vance Richardson, Jackson Richardson, Gerald Powell, and Jada Gara; and his brother, Danny Rodgers.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport. Family and friends may visit one-hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15^th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the family of Johnny Richardson.
