Joseph Baisden Agregaard

At 1:55 pm on the 25th of October Joseph Baisden Agregaard was taken to Our Heavenly Father. Joe passed so peacefully after a very short illness. Joe was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi, born to Henry and Margueritte Agregaard on September 12, 1932. He graduated from Notre Dame with honors and from Draughn Business College in Baton Rouge. Joe’s family owned and operated Agregaard’s Seafood for many years, however he is more recently known for owning and operating Lil Joe’s Fishing Camp. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Joe loved to work and lived for his family. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Henry J. Agregaard, Jr., Margueritte Chevalier, Roland Agregaard, Edwin A. Agregaard and Verna Mae Smith. Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Patsy Ann “Pat” Girouard Agregaard; his children, Patty (Doffie) Ross, Richelle Weiland and Joe (Tammy) Agregaard, Jr. Joe was so fortunate as to have had 7 beautiful grandchildren, Chelsea, Sarah Jo, Dylan, Emily, Tyler, Conner and Kymberlee. He also had 2 great-grandchildren, Briar and Tucker; and his sister, Iris A. Ladner. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Marian Chapel at Nativity BVM on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 6:00 pm. Friends may visit from 5:00 pm until mass time.
