Josephine Masino

Josephine Marie Masino, age 74, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 in Ocean Springs. She was a native of Newark, NJ and a resident of the coast since 1972. She was a hairdresser at Mark I Hair Salon for thirty years. Jo was floor supervisor with the Palace Casino for many years. The Gulf Coast became her family and she was affectionately known to all as "Mama Jo". She is survived by her long time companion, Stefanie Bond; sister, Lucille Porcello and a host of coast family and friends. Special thanks to SAAD's Home Health/Hospice Care, Dr. Lydia Latour and Dr. Dawn Hansen. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
