Joyce was born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania to the late Hiram Donton and Naomi Hoy on February 19, 1953. Joyce attended Pine Grove High School. Joyce was also a bus driver for the Biloxi School District. In her free time, Joyce loved to bake, knit and spoil her dogs, specifically Squirt.
Joyce was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Russel Kleinfelter; father, Hiram Donton; mother, Naomi Hoy; and her four siblings, Ronald Donton, Rickey Donton, Joan Rittel, and Leona Bohr.
