Joyce Annabelle Krohn

Joyce Annabelle (Krohn) Rogers, age 81, of Success, MS, was called to glory on Thursday, October 20, 2016. Mrs. Rogers was a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast; Biloxi, D’Iberville and Success. She was a graduate of Biloxi High School, the Class of 1952. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, James Allen (Jimmie) Rogers; children, David Allen ‘Hank’ Rogers (Nancy), Riki Rebecca Odom (Richard), Linda Sue Lane; grandchildren, Tara Elizabeth Rogers Adas (Yusef), Aaron Donovan Lane, Jessica Meghan Lane Preston, Richard Paul Ian Odom, Scarlett Joycelen Rogers; and great grandchildren, Caleb Jordan Adas and Rubeigh Elizabeth Brown-Knight. She was known by so many as ‘Miss Joyce’. For over 35 years she served the Airmen at Keesler Air Force Base and her family and many friends at Dunnaway’s Grill in Ocean Springs and Donutland in D’Iberville. The family has chosen to keep the services for Mrs. Rogers private. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital www.stjude.org.
