Julia "Jewel" Irene Peterson Perronne

Julia “Jewel” Irene Peterson Perronne, age 79, of Long Beach passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Jewel was born in Hancock County and was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Kenneth Perronne; parents, Sullivan and Mary Ladner Peterson; brothers, Ervin Peterson, Joe Pete Peterson and Houston Peterson; and sister, Nolena Ladner. Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Perronne (Bobby Page), Susan Mayberry (William), Robin Daniels (Larry), Karen Tripp (Philip Beninato); sons, Joe Perronne (Sheila) and Pat Perronne (Melinda); sisters, Helen Necaise and Betty Necaise; brothers, Provis Peterson and Vermon Peterson; 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Roxie Thomas, Dr. Lanier, Hope Landis, Janice Dawson, Dr. O’Gorman, Camelia Hospice, Sister Theresa, Fresenius Kidney Care in North Gulfport and her extended family for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial to be made to the National Kidney Foundation at 1-800-622-9010. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow at Allen Cemetery on 28th Street in Long Beach. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
