Julia Mary Ross

Julia Mary Ross, age 91, of Gulfport, died Monday, May 31, 2010 in Gulfport. She was born in Chickasaw, AL and was a life long resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Gulfport. She attended MSCW and was a former secretary at Anniston Elementary School. She was a charter member of Gulfport Yacht Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen H. Ross, Jr; and a brother, Bill McLeod. Mrs. Ross is survived by a daughter Danette Shaw Pizzetta (Don H.) of Gulfport; a son, Stephen H. Ross, III (Peggy M) of Perkinston; and four grandchildren, Susan Stephanie Shaw, Robert D. Shaw, George M. Ross, and Stephen H. Ross, IV; and three great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Friday, June 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the service.
