June Elsie Dee Barger Green

Mrs. June Elsie Dee Barger Green, 91 of Ocean Springs, MS went home to her Lord on November 30, 2022.

Mrs. Green was born in Belleville, IL to Edwin and Clara Barger. She spent over twenty years employed by civil service as a finance clerk, later becoming a pay clerk for the 403^rd Hurricane Hunters at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS. She was a long- time member of First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs, MS. She loved being a choir member and playing the hand bells. She was a generous and loving wife, mother, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Green; her parents, and her sister, Joy Elizabeth Inez Barger Schmidt.

June is survived by her children, Vicki Green (Peter) Ambrose, Patti Green (Mark) Sonnier, Lyle Green, and Terri Green (Chuck) Douglas; twelve grandchildren, Steven Ambrose, Victoria Sonnier Soule, Brian Sonnier, Carrol Sonnier, Kathy Sonnier Rodgers, Thomas Green, Jeremy Green, Devin Douglas, Caleb Douglas, Erin Douglas King, Micah Douglas, Noah Douglas; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
