Karen Brown Ferguson

Karen Brown Ferguson, age 44, of Gulfport, died Monday, October 10, 2011 in Gulfport. She was born in Mobile, AL and was a longtime resident of Gulfport. She was a member of Orange Grove Church of Christ where she was actively involved in all phases of church ministry. She was a full time mom who loved her children and died saving one. She was a friend to all. She was preceded in death by her son, Trevor Cole Ferguson. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Les Ferguson, JR.; three sons, Kyle Ferguson and wife, Karissa, Conner Ferguson, and Casey Ferguson; a sister, Robin D. Halford; a brother, Scott Brown; parents, Dr. Bob and Joan Brown; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Shayna Farner and Bethy Dollar. Visitation will be Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Orange Grove Church of Christ, O'Neal Road, Gulfport. The service will be Friday, October 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the church where friends may visit beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
